Good'épices: the art of finding rare products

Close your eyes, let the aromas come… Imagine a rare spice that blows distant accents and a pepper with delicate notes of dark chocolate. Welcome to Good'épices, a discreet but passionate house, anchored in Colombelles, a stone's throw from Caen.

From Normandy to the world, but with heart

From 2011, Jean-Charles, a seasoned professional in the food industry, set himself a simple and ambitious challenge: to provide chefs with proximity, creativity and audacityIt didn't start in a castle, but in a garage without electricity. Today, Good'épices is made up of around twenty enthusiasts, a brand-new building with a training kitchen, a photo studio, optimized logistics... and still that gentle energy, that attention to detail.

The great journey of small formats

What makes Good'épices' heart beat is this invisible line between the artisan grocer and the alchemist of flavors. On their shelves: essential products — salt, pepper, mustard — faithful to the post, and rare specialties that take you on a journey. Apple pepper, roasted curry, whisky malt vinegar... Each creation requires months of maturation and testing, because here, we reject artifice, we favor naturalness and balance.

Spices that tell a story

“Each product tells a story, a terroir, a flavor, a farmer” – Jean-Charles doesn’t talk about spices, but about stories. And you can feel it. With 1 400 references To their credit, they pamper prestigious kitchens: Parisian palaces, Pierre Hermé, Valrhona… A great way to export Normandy to the heart of French gastronomy. Yves, our daily partner, will always have a new flavor to introduce us to.
